Hi, everyone I Just wanted to give you all and update on why I haven't posted a blog in a long time. I have wanted to post several blogs this year but my computer decided to not run blogger anymore plus many other things so I got a new computer. Also I couldn't decide what to write about I would think of something and then I would be like No and my computer wouldn't work anyway. I would really love to write more the rest of this year maybe add some pictures or video to the blog we will see how it goes. Hi Everyone, Happy New year 2020 was not the year anyone expected and I didn't want to write any blog post for a long time my hope is to write more this year. I hope 2021 is better for everyone. I started a new devotions book that I got for Christmas. We as Humans (and especially women)tend to compare ourselves to other people what they have or how they look but there is no need in doing that because your self-esteem is not derived from how you preform at your job or what nice things you may have or even how your body looks. your self-worth comes from the One who created you and He's already shown what He thinks of us because He died for us. Hi Everyone,   I was just looking at this blog I can't believe it was May 2018 when I last  posted and here we are and it's almost June 2019 whoa! where is the year going. After that last post life got kind of crazy with my Grandmother getting sick and passing away a few months later in July but Praise the Lord she's all better in heaven and I will see her again someday! Now to what this post is about, is God calling you to do something for Him? if so and you don't know what His will is for your life pray and ask Him and read His word He will tell you. Hello Everyone,  I hope everyone is well and having a good start to the summer months. It sure has gotten Hot fast around here. The Inspiration for this post comes from my devotions this morning it talked about the "Shining Stars" in our lives and No that's not the people we see on tv or in the movies but Teachers, or just a sweet neighbor, or maybe our Preachers and Pastors, and our Sunday School teachers. The verse is Daniel 12:3-And they that be wise shall shine as the Brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. and I thought wow I want to be a" Shining Star" not just being kind and helping someone but like in the stories it told showing Jesus while doing their job or just what they are called by God to do even though it might be something in everyday life. Hello Everyone,  I hope everyone has had a good summer, I know some have started back to school and some have not yet but either way I hope it's been good. It was June 3oth when I last posted and I was board today so I thought I would blog.  It has been a  pretty busy one for me with church stuff and we've been doing a lot with the choirs and singing at several places. I have also been to four weddings this summer two of which I was in. The homeschool groups are starting back up for the year and horseback starts at the end of August and dance starts again in September plus there is always stuff with church so I'm staying busy now too. Hi All,   Today I've been thinking about how we all have been broken at times and I'm talking about on the inside or maybe spiritually. Only God can heal our Brokenness and make it a Blessing. If we let God have control of our Brokenness we can help others bring their cares and brokenness to Jesus. A lot of Times we don't want to help others because well we say but they are so different then me and we just don't know what to do or say for whatever reason that may be I don't know but we all know of someone who we can help. The truth is God has called us to love the broken ones as the song says there would be a lot less broken ones if we love like God does. Hi all,  Last night my Pastor preached about how even though we can't see God he is there and that just because we can't see Him that doesn't mean that he's not real, that we can't know him, that he doesn't care, and that he's not Faithful. He Is All Those Things! and I want all of you to know that no matter what your going through He cares for you and He is Faithful. In his word it says God is Faithful and it also says cast all your cares on him for he cares for you. Even when you feel like He's a million miles away from you he's right there and wants to talk to you. He already knows so we might as well tell him him about our cares. Hi Everyone,   I know it was January when I last wrote when we had the one snow we got here this year and here it is nearing the end of may and I haven't kept up with the blog yet again. So I'm here to write another post finally. I have decide to give the blog a different look since it's been a while, so what's been going on with me? well, I've been doing a lot with church, back in April we had our Easter play, straight into a week long revival and then Easter and we've had choir singings in between all that and we are still busy but that is Summer time for you. And I'm finishing up horseback for now until fall classes start we have one more class next week. Dance recital is coming up soon! ahhhh Nervous! also have about 4 weddings to go to this summer two of which I'm in. Hello Everyone,  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and A Happy New Year, I was looking at my blog and realized that I hadn't written since Sept. of last year wow I did not write as much as I wanted to last year because I got so busy and lets be honest Life Happens. So for my first post of 2017, It Snowed here and for most of the East Coast, we got about 5in. of snow here where I live but the wind has really pushed it around so in places it looks like less and others look like more lol. I'll be honest I don't really love snow or a whole lot of it at one time anyway but it is beautiful and God sends what we need when we need it he knows what's best. Hi all, thought I would update the blog today by telling you guys about my experience with my first dance class. Since I first found out about the dance class/group I've been so excited! The first class was yesterday (Tuesday) when we started yesterday I wasn't sure what it would be like or whether I could do it or not whether I could keep up. But I did pretty good for my first time. There are three other Girls in the class I think we all did well for the first class. The Teacher she is so sweet and fun I Love it can't wait to do our different performances. I Love everyone in the class, I'm so thankful for this new opportunity It's a great thing. I'm just going to remember my favorite verse-Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. With Him all things are Possible, and remember Jesus Loves you and so do I. Hi all, I hope everyone one has had a good summer. I'm sorry it's been so long since I posted on here it has been a little crazy here lately my summer has been pretty good some parts have not been great. There has been a lot going on in my family, I lost a best friend of 16 years she passed away do too long term health issues, and this week we had to put one of our dogs down he had a lot of sickness. Now some Good stuff I've been busy with church this summer, the Homeschool stuff is staring back up and this year I'm helping with two groups and I found I new opportunity too join a Dance team that Dances in wheelchairs or just a chair so I'm excited about that. Hi all, First I want to say I'm sorry for how long it's been since I last wrote a blog post. Today's post is not something I would normally write but I feel lead to. When I say the title of this post I don't mean me or you personally but I mean the world in general. This world is so full of Hate and I don't know about you but I am tired of hearing about it! it seems like every week someone is shot and injured/killed because of their race/gender or just out of anger for no other reason at all. When the Bible clearly states Beloved let us Love one another for Love is of God. God also says Hate the Sin but LOVE the Sinner. We as Christians need to shine our light in this dark world because Jesus can turn all this hate to love if we are praying to Him for America to turn back to Him. Hey all,  There are things in this life that sometimes become our main focus like our families, our Jobs, everyday chores and while those things are important God wants us to put our focus on Him more then the things of life. We have to "drop our nets" and put our mind on Him it's so easy to fall into the trap of letting other things come before God but even when we do He is there ready to forgive and help us move forward. We may think we have walked with the Lord all day when really our minds have been on "our nets". So think about what are your nets? I will think about mine too. But if we keep our thoughts on Him we will be following Him. And He saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Hi all, I know it's been about a week since I last posted I haven't had any ideas on what to write about, and it's been a little crazy around here lately. But I'm back today with a new post.   Sometimes we tell people that we are fine when they ask how we are when really we are not ok don't we? We hide the Real us because we don't want people to know the real us but, we need to know ourselves and be true to us. In His word God calls us to be genuine so much so that our lives truly reveal who we are on the inside. That is something that only God can help us with to take who people see on the outside and make us the same on the inside he is ready and willing to help us. Hi all, There are a lot of changes in this life those things we can and like to change like hair style, clothing style or the look of our homes. and those things we can't change like circumstances, choices we make weather good or bad. But there is one thing that will NEVER change and that is God praise the Lord he's the same yesterday, today and forever. He loved us when he sent his son, when we got saved and he will still love us when we are in His glory. that means forever that will NEVER change what a awesome unchangeable God we serve. Hi Everyone,   Today's post, you know sometimes we have things in our lives that we may love but they are not in God's plan so he cuts them out of our lives and that can be hard to go through but he will always put in something better. He is making us into a beautiful quilt for his kingdom. the Bible says in Colossians 2:10 And ye are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power. I'm so glad we are complete in him we don't need anything else to satisfy us. there is a song we used to sing in church when I was little that says, Something Beautiful something good all my confusion He understood all I had to offer Him was brokenness and strife but He made something beautiful of my life. Hi all, I know it's been awhile since I last wrote, I been busy lately and this week we have Jubilee Revival at church.  Today's post is about staying focused on what our purpose is in our Christian lives. It is wonderful to help those in need but sometimes we do that so much that we lose sight of what our main focus is and that's that we should make sure those we know, love, help, or a stranger know who Jesus is and know him as their Savior. Is mine and yours main focus on showing others salvation through Jesus Christ or on something else? Lets ask the Lord to help us stay focused on the most important thing showing others to Jesus. For when for a time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. Hi All,  Today's post is about God always being there for us. Maybe you feel like God is not there for you right now in whatever your going through maybe you feel like your prayers are just hitting the ceiling and coming back down like God is not hearing you. Sometimes when we are hurting or are afraid we ask where is God? does he care about me? But know this God is there he does care about you and he wants to answer your prayers. In his Time and his way he will answer with what is best for us. He will bring us though the storms, his love surrounds us, we have his word on it. May you experience the peace, joy, and assurance that only Christ can bring. Hi Everyone, First off Happy April Fool's day to everyone,    Today's post is about helping those in need. My devotions this morning had a story about a neighborhood of people helping an elderly man gather up firewood for the winter because he wasn't able to for himself. I thought about how often do we lift up those who are down? whether that be giving them our time or just a smile as we walk by. The Bible says in 1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. Helping others is the best gift we can give. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD. Psalm 117:2.
